Organizations achieving the highest overall scores in both their reports and presentations will automatically qualify for this prestigious recognition, no separate application is required.
A total of ten companies will be selected, comprising five from the Sector Awards and five from the Cluster Awards. The Excellence in Best Management Practices Awards will be conferred on these Top Ten Companies, including the Overall Winners.
03. Outstanding Companies in Best Management Practices Company Awards 2026
Organizations attaining the highest scores in their reports and presentations will automatically qualify for this award, with no separate application required. The recognition will be conferred on the Top Twenty-Five organizations from all applicants in Sectors and Ten organizations in Clusters, except Excellence award winners.

The SME category of the Best Management Practices Company Awards recognizes small and medium enterprises that demonstrate excellence in management practices. Companies are classified into large, medium, and small-scale SMEs based on their annual turnover. This category highlights their contribution to Sri Lanka’s economic growth, innovation, and competitiveness. By celebrating excellence in SME management, the awards encourage operational efficiency, sustainable growth, and the adoption of best management practices across the sector.

5.10.2.a Large-Scale SMEs: LKR 501 million – 01 billion and 101 to 300 employees

06. Leadership Recognition Awards
The Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, or General Manager who endorses the organization’s report and PowerPoint presentation will be eligible for this award in recognition of his or her exemplary leadership in driving organizational excellence. No separate application is required for this category.
The award will be presented to the signatory representing each of the Top Ten companies selected for the Excellence in Best Management Practices Company Awards 2026.
07. Merit in Best Management Practices Company Awards 2026
Organizations who earn 50% to 60% marks, but do not secure any such title will be recognized as the ‘Merit in Best Management Practices Company Awards 2026’
08. Certificate of Recognition in Best Management Practices Company Awards 2026
Organizations who earn 40% to 49% marks, but do not secure any such title will be recognized as the ‘Certificate of Recognition in Best Management Practices Company Awards 2026’
