About the MLE Awards
The Second Edition of the CPM Management Leadership Excellence Awards aims to recognize and honor outstanding business leaders and corporate decision-makers who have effectively transformed their company or team's vision into a reality, driving growth and profitability. These awards will celebrate exemplary seven leadership qualities such as innovation, community service, brand building, diversification, management skills, and strategic acumen.

At the CPM Management Leadership Excellence Awards, we honour individuals at the C-Suite Leadership, including Executive Chairman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Managing Director (MD), and General Manager (GM) and Secretaries in Government Ministries/Departments/Authorities who exemplify outstanding leadership. These distinguished professionals are recognized for their transformative impact on their organisations and their ability to navigate through diverse and challenging circumstances. Their visionary leadership, strategic direction, and unwavering commitment to excellence serve as a benchmark in modern management.

Eligibility for Applications
Applications are only open for Sri Lankan citizens working locally and globally.
Organisations could nominate their employees as applicants for the CPM Management Leadership Excellence Awards 2026. A separate nomination should be made for each individual application.
All applications must be endorsed by a senior authority of the respective organization, such as the CEO, Managing Director, General Manager, Director, or Head of Department certifying the accuracy and authenticity of the information provided. Entrepreneurs and sole proprietors are required to submit an affidavit attested by a licensed attorney or an All-Island Justice of Peace.
Applicants are required to use the template to write the report given by CPM Sri Lanka.
C-Suite Leadership applicants should have a minimum of 15 years of total experience including 10 years of c-suite experience as of 31st December 2025.
Executive Decision Maker Leadership applicants should have a minimum of 15 years of total experience including 05 years of senior managerial experience as of 31st December 2025.
Emerging Managerial Leadership applicants should have a minimum of 10 years of total experience including 05 years of managerial experience as of 31st December 2025.
The nominated applicants should remain actively employed with the organisation throughout the entry review period and up to the Awards Night on 15 September 2026.
Applicants should have a substantial professional track record in their respective fields, demonstrating significant achievements and contributions to their organisations and industries.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate high ethical standards and integrity in their professional conduct. They must not have been found guilty in any court of law, internal company inquiry, or other formal investigation. A duly signed declaration affirming this must be submitted as part of the application attested by the higher management.

General Guidelines
Applicants must follow the report template given by CPM Sri Lanka for the report writing.
Applicants are expected to make a 10-minute video of the multi-media presentation based on the factors structured and articulated in the report. You are allowed to use appropriate AI tools for the video.
Applicants should submit a report containing 500–1,000 words through the designated online submission form available on the CPM Awards Official Website(www.cpmawards.com). The submission link will be provided when the submission period officially opens. The report must be uploaded in PDF format.
Font used for all texts should be Arial/Calibri/Times New Roman 12-point. Main headings and sub-headings should be bold. All texts should be justified.
The report must be endorsed by the organisation's Chairman/CEO/MD/Proprietor as true and correct (company rubber stamp/seal and signature). Applications submitted by entrepreneurs or sole proprietors must be accompanied by an affidavit attested by a Justice of the Peace (JP) or a qualified lawyer.
The Report, which does not adhere to the given template will be rejected. Application fee is non-refundable.
As the evaluation process is conducted in English, all report content and video presentations must be prepared and submitted in English.
Applicants earning 61% or above but not securing a title will receive "Merit in CPM Management Leadership Excellence Awards 2026".
Applicants earning 50%–60% will receive "Certificate of Recognition in CPM Management Leadership Excellence Awards 2026".
Applicants earning 49% or below will not be recognized.

Other Guidelines for Video Presentations
The applicant must make a PowerPoint presentation himself clearly explaining the details mentioned in the report.
Applicants are required to maintain professional office attire throughout the video presentation.

Cheques should be drawn in favour of "The Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka"
Information Security
CPM Sri Lanka assures the security of information provided by applicants. It will not be divulged to a third party unless for technical evaluation to a panel of judges. The judges will adhere to the confidentiality of information ensured by CPM Sri Lanka.
Authority
The Panel of Judges will be the sole and final deciding authority regarding the evaluation procedures and the recipients of the awards.
